      • BEWARE! KingRoot APP as of today for Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime from Cricket Wireless is causing the phone to lock itself. You could lose your files and more. Your phone will lockup and you can not use it unless you do what I did. This video shows how I got my phone to work again. (I reinstalled KingRoot thinking it was a glitch but again it locked my phone and I had to repeat the video steps!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqoX7wNhotk

Very Useful to reflashing phone to original firmware also!

KingRoot APP was way great! Until today. Even their website is detected as with a Virus. Hope they fix soon!

The app was easy to install, very easy and allowed me to use the L2SD app so I could use my memory card for apps and save space on my 8gb phone. I was able to load like 10gigs but now looking for fast fix until KingRoot fixes the problem!

(IF YOU HAVE KINGROOT APP INSTALLED BACK UP YOUR FILES NOW JUST IN CASE. YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU DID!)

  2. What about a Custom Recovery?

Had no problem rooting using this method on the earlier version of 4.4.4. After update to AOF5, King Root no longer worked, so I rooted using XDA method for SM-G530H using ODIN.
